 JASPER HUDSON SIMS DEAD
 Burial of Aged Citizen Took Place Monday Afternoon
 Death came Sunday night to end the long continued sufferings of Jasper Hudson Sims, one of Mena's long time citizens. The end came at the family home on Second Street. The body was moved to the Beasley Funeral Home to await burial, which took place Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Services at the home were directed by the Rev. J.K. Davidson, pastor of the Nazarene Church. Burial at Odd Fellows Cemetery was in charge of the Dallas Lodge of Masons.
 Mr. Sims was 80 years of age and had lived in Mena since 1900, when he moved his family here from Hot Springs. He is survived by his wife and nine children, five sons and four daughters. The children are M.H. Sims of Pittsburg, Kas., E.M. Sims and Mrs. Will Wilson of Camden, A.M. Sims and Mrs Grace Liles of Board Camp, J.A. Sims of Bunkie, La, Thelma Sims of St. Louis and Kathleen Sims of Mena.
