Notes
a. Note:   The home of Robert Wesley FERGUSON was referred to as "Bellissima". The government through the process of eminent domain acquired this property for the Salisbury High School. The house was demolished. Gladys Ferguson planted a tree in 1983 on the school grounds for a special occasion (30 years) and at that time the original tennis court, the tall palm tree and Robert Wesley's pine avenue from the old house to the road were still there. Salisbury High School has been incorporated with another school to become Nyanda State High School. The school has now named a house after the Fergusons. A house is not a physical building but a group of boys and girls collected under that name for sport and activities.
In an affidavit dated March 13 1928, Robert lists his occupation as "Clerk in the Water Supply and Sewerage Board".
Its unknown exactly when but Robert converted to the Christadelphians, a Bible-based community who have attempted to get back to the faith and character of the first century believers. They have no paid clergy or church hierarchy. They accept the Bible as their only guide and believe it to be the inspired word of God.
