a. Note:   in of the Militia, first Justice of the Peace in Pembroke 1711, and later its second town clerk. He owned a saw mill and dam in 1715. Before 1725 moved to Kingston. His gravestone in Pembroke reads "dyed 26 May, 1750, in ye 80 yeare."
