 I just returned from the National Archives and I think I have found thecorrect maiden name of Jarvis Stockton's wife. I'll send more later.Henrietta Cooke was born May12, 1831 at Beaufort, North Carolina,daughter of Henry Marchant Cooke and Frances Barry (Buxton) Cooke.She married Maximillian Buchanan Stockton Feb. 20, 1848 in WashingtonCounty, Texas.
