VA: Will, Probated 18 Sep 1815: To mybeloved wife Prissila Faris the use of part of my plantation and house,my negro Spencer, and a reasonable amount of the furniture and stock forher use during her natural life. The remaining part of my estate to besold and the money divided between my children: Juriah, Nathaniel,Unisy, Stephen, Nancy, Seludy except a bed and furniture to Nancy if sheis living when my wife dies. To my daughter Juriah a chest and negrogirl Rachel. To my
 beloved son Nathaniel 200 acres, part of the tract where I live providedhe pays my daugther Unisy Rowland sixty pounds, a part of her legacy.To my beloved son Stephen 100 acres, a part of the tract where I nowlive. To my beloved daughter Nancy Patterson 100 acres joining Stephenand Nathaniel, during her widowhood. Should she marry or die, the landto my son Stephen and he is to pay Edward and Charles Paterson, sons ofNancy, twenty pounds each. To my beloved daughter Seludy Faris, ahorse, bed and furniture, a desk, a negro Fanny and a cupboard. I giveto Elizabeth Faris, daughter of Unisa Roland, a bed and furniture.
