  Married in Giddings, November 15, 1891. The Aunt Lyde notebook fromLucille Shilling to Milton G. Fariss seems to say (blurred) November 10,1891.
  In the 1880 Census, Thomas and Betty are married, and are living inLee County in the household of William Holmes Fariss, with their2-year-old daughter Adna May. Although Thomas is 25, Theodore is 23,and Ira is 20, all nine children of William and Amelia are living athome.
  Thomas and Betty later lived at Lake Victor, near Burnet, Texas.
  "Burnet County History Vol. I" Clayton Library 976.463 D287 page249:
 T. M. Fariss subscribed to 10 shares at Par $100 each when the FirstState Bank of Burnet was chartered October 5, 1908. This $1000 was oneof the higher figures among the men who founded the bank. He was thusalso elected a Director for the first year.
  The girls in Oklahoma said that he died of a facial cancer, but hisDeath Certificate lists cerebral hemorrhage, cardiac failure, andhypertension.
  He is buried at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Burnet, Texas. Robetha (Mrs.Ted) Fariss has visited this grave. He is buried between his twowives.
  "Pleasant Valley," apparently a different cemetery, is located twomiles east of Marble Falls. No Fariss is listed in this cemetery book.
