Note: 1874 - 1891 Oscar Peery Fariss was named for his grandmother Martha Patsy Peery. Robetha has deathdate September 7, 1891. Elsewhere August 7, 1891. His older brother Theodore Thee Fariss lived in Giddings, Burnet, LakeVictor and for a time on the Brazos River near Goree, Knox County, nearSeymour, Texas, with others who joined him in the cattle business.Thee had cattle and horses. Thee moved to Trail Flats, Oklahoma in 1893with his wife Laura Ann Medlin and one son; some cattle, some horses,Uncle Andrew Jones, Jim Medlin, Isaac Medlin, spintress Rebecca Medlin,J. Allen Mulkey and his wife, and another Medlin. Maybe Lewis Medlintoo. Oscar Peery Fariss died of typhus fever at age 17 at the Theo Farisshome. He is buried at Seymour, Texas. A baby boy was born 24 days later to Dora McGuire and her husbandWilliam Alexander "Eck" Fariss. This baby was named Peery Jones Farissin honor of his 17-year-old uncle.
