Note: He was known as both Fariss and as Hood. He was "the handsome one." So what does that say about good old Charlie Wilson? Fariss Wilson "was in the service," and probably was in the Navy,because Robetha's picture 23 shows a young man in a U. S. Navy uniform. He lived in Arkansas, and was living in Decatur, Arkansas at the timeof his mother's 1963 obituary. He died in a V.A. Hospital, probably the one in Temple. He isburied either in Burnet or more likely Lampasas, his wife's home town.
