  "Jared Guilford Presson (25, December, 1856 - 22 July, 1944), a son ofNeedham and Lydia Presson, was raised near Camden; was several yearspostmaster in Camden. He entered the druggist business in that town in1892, occupying the old Morris store on the east side of the square. Noone kept a better known store in town; in time, he kept a largemiscellanea of goods. For many years, school children even bought theirtextbooks at the Presson store. Thrice married, Presson lived to anadvanced age, having had a varied public and private life. (Who's Whoin Tennessee, Memphis, 1911, p.41)

 Jarrett Guildord, born about 1856; he was living in Camden in 1937. Hemarried on 26 November 1879 L. V. Cole. She was Leona V. born on 3October 1856 and died on 2 September 1891 a daughter of Willis HowardCole (1818-1898) and Marilda Jorday (1817-1898).
