Annie Fariss Ballard says that Elmer Jack's mother Aunt Laura MedlinFariss visited in Giddings when Annie was a little girl. Laura had "kindof reddish hair." On another occasion, Ira Milton 1895, Cata 1897, andElmer Jack 1902 visited in Giddings, all at one time. First cousinsRobert Ernest Fariss and Ira Milton Fariss Sr., being about the sameage, hit it off real well right at the beginning, and became goodfriends during the short visit.
Elmer Jack is buried in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Oklahoma City.
