Note: She lived in Giddings, Dallas, and Austin.
She lived with her nephew I.J. Fariss before he got married. "She wasvery hard to get along with." Her nephew's wife, Annie StocktonFariss, did not like her.
She was a milliner, and probably lived in Dallas at that time.
Later when she lived in Austin, she was taking care of an old ladynamed Birdie, a Jones family member, near the U of T. Delia wasworking as a kind of LVN. During this time, she walked in herneighborhood for exercise, and thus visited with Aubrey Fariss at hisboarding house when he was at U of T in the 1920's.
We have not yet (1995) heard anything about Mr. Johnson or whetherthis couple had children. Annie Fariss Ballard has no information onthem.
