It mentions his wife Susannah; his daughter whose name is spelledMire, Myree, and Myra in the same document; and his son James.   There are other Jacob Fariss persons in the DAR book in Amelia,Henrico, Henry, Lunenburg, Halifax, and Bedford counties, and inWinchester City.
  Incidentally, the will of John Winfree was probated in the sameCUMBERLAND County, and John names his daughter Elizabeth as the wife ofJOHN Fariss. This may throw out Elizabeth Winfree as a possible wife ofJacob's brother William Fariss, who spent his time in Amelia County.
