Note: Esther was a tiny, very quick & alert person with a ready wit & small piercing eye. She was greatly respected by all. Marion Nichols Stewart writes that " our first meeting with the Halls was at a Dixon reunion held near Shetland at the home of Mary Jane Dixon Gray & Robert Gray. It was 1929 and 65 relatives met to renew old acquaintances and make new ones.
Walter & Lester Hall, George's children, were graduating from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Everett drove his father, George Hall to the graduation and then to the Dixon reunion.
George Hall remarked that Zenobia Dixon Nichols was very much like his sister, Emma.
