Note: James & Nina farmed in Dawn TOwnship until 1924 when they moved to Florence where James owned and operated a general store in the village. His first cousin, Annie Estella McLennan worked their before her marriage to Joseph Alexander McClintock.
They were active in community and church affairs until 1942 when the Sinclair family moved to Chatham. James was associated with the Lambton Loan and Investment Company.
