Note: Lived in Youngstown, Ohio. McLENNAN, Donald E. - of Youngstown, Ohio passed away peacefully Saturday, August 1st in his 90th year. Born in London, he was the son of Nelson and Winnifred McLennan. He attended Central Collegiate, the University of Western Ontario and achieved his PhD in Physics at the University of Toronto. He worked in scientific research in Quebec City before moving to the United States in 1959. He taught Physics at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia and then at Youngstown State University from which he retired after 29 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Louise, his sister Marian and his eldest son Peter. He is survived by a sister Cynthia of Stratford, Ontario and children Carol (Peter) of Toronto, Chris (Martin) of Newmarket, Douglas (Martha) of Arlington, Virginia, Frank (Juliann) of Youngstown, Patricia (Thom) of Eugene, Oregon, Rob (Hanna) of Davis, California; grandchildren Liz, Meredith, Caroline, Kate, Elliott, Geoffrey, Lydia, Andrew, Ian, Jonathan, Mary, Carolanne, and Michael, great granddaughter Tesfa. There will be no funeral. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
