Note: Joseph Drew came to America in 1765 from Scotland, settling forst in Sunbury, Georgia and later moving to Ninety Six District in South Carolina. He was a tailor by trade. He was in the Melitia and came to New Brunswick in 1782 with other Loyalists. Joseph Drew received compensation for his lost property in Georgia and South Carolina. He also was granted a lot n Saint John and two lots at Belleisle Bay.
He and his wife Mary moved back to Saint John where he died in 1808. Mary died in 1818. Martin Riecker was living next to Joseph Drew when he petitioned for land in 1796.
