Two Archie Utters found in the 1920 Census, neither a fit. Why these folks disappeared between 1910 and 1930 is a mystery.
At some point, since I came up empty, the index was cleaned up, and it turns out the name was evidently originally rendered as "Getter" by the indexer, leading to an inability to find him. It seems clear enough to me to be "Utter" but the name is written over a smudge on the paper, perhaps an erasure.
