J., February 21, 1894, of pneumonia, Charles P. Leggett, age 33 years 9 months 18 days. Funeral private on account of serious illness in the family. CHARLES P. LEGGETT. Charles P. Leggett, prominent in the business and fraternal circles of Plainfield, N. J. died at his home in Madison-ave., that city, on Wednesday. He was an active worker of the Board of Trade, being one of its founders. He was King of Jerusalem Chapter, Royal Arch Masons, Worshipful Master of Jerusalem Lodge, F. and A. M., a member of Mecca Temple, Mystic Shrine, and of Trinity Commandery, Knights Templar. He was also a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and other societies. He was president of the Plainfield Crescent Wheelmen, and assistant chief of the volunteer firemen. He was thirty-three years old. A widow and two children survive him.
