Cannot find a listing in New York or Connecticut, or anywhere, probably due to an indexing error. It would be interesting to know if Edward III died before 1930. We know he was dead by 1938, when his parents made arrangements to transfer family heirlooms to Kate B. Leggett, as they had lost their only son and heir.

Macy late owner of Lot No. 6 & 7 in Lot 419 -442 Section 10 in The Woodlawn Cemetery, situated in the City of New York and County of Bronx, died on or about the 24th day of June one thousand nine hundred and twenty-seven and did not specifically dispose of said Lot by last Will and Testament.
That at the time of the death of the said Charlotte M. Leggett she left surviving as her sole heirs no children.
