Note: e Twp., Oakland County, Michigan 13 October 1861. Valentine died before 26 July 1870 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, at age 8. His body was interred at Sashabaw in Sashabaw, Independence Twp., Oakland County, Michigan. He is buried at the Sashabaw Cemetery in the same lot as his grandparents. He has a small square stone "Tinie L." marking his grave.
