Note: ounty, Michigan December 1869. William died 22 March 1878 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, at age 8. Wayne County Death Records [State of Michigan]: Leger page 69, record no. 241 - He died of dropsy at age 9 years - recorded 13 May 1879. His body was interred at Sashabaw Cemetery in Sashabaw, Independence Twp., Oakland County, Michigan. He is buried at the Sashabaw Cemetery beside his brother & near his grandparents. The grave marker is a small square stone marked "Willie L." with no other information.
