  Dear David,
Yes, I knew Rella. She was a wonderful person. Gammon was her maiden name, she was never married prior to marrying Allan. Her parents names were Quincy Gammon and Mae Temme Gammon. She was born in Missouri, spent part of her life in Michigan, but the majority in Iowa. Allan divorced his first wife Loraine. Allan's mother "hated" Rella, but always kept a good relationship with his first wife and their children, but partially (if this is possible) disowned Allan. I don't have any contact with the MacDougalls. The older generation of Gammons/Temmes are dead and the others have dispersed throughout the country. Rella had one brother Tench Gammon.
Never too many questions when genealogy is concerned. If you have other else let me know.

Thank you, Suzanne for that photo. She was a looker alright. Did you know her? She died not that long ago. Is that her maiden name, or did she get Gammon from a first marriage? Perhaps she had children by the first marriage?
Do you know when she and Allen were married? Was Allen divorced from his first wife, or was he widowed? Do you have any contact with the MacDougalls these days? Enough questions, I suppose!
  David
