My cousin Kate sent me information about our many times Gr
Grandmother Martha Leggett , that she printed from Ancestry World
Tree Project. Your email was on the material as the Contact and
Source. How does one verify these old old records.
I can take you from about mid to end 1700's to the present. Our
family was from James Ferguson my Dad's Grgr Grandfather, his
daughter Elizabeth born in 1853 married Charles Herbert Ford our gr
grandfather. Thence the connection, and my Dad Richard Ford was
about a 5 0r 6th generation in Orange County add a few generations
for Ulster County where the Cornells and Fergusons lived.
Anyhow let us see if this goes thru and we could chat more.

I have the Beekman Patent book info, but I am interested in any original source material showing that Hezekiah Ferguson and Martha Leggett are the parents of any one or all of Gabriel (b. 1745), Thomas (b. 1747), Martha (b. 1750), Hezekiah (b. 1752), Bridgit (b. 1754), Ann (b. 1756), John (b. 1758), Mary (b. 1761), Basil (b. 1763), Sarah (b. 1766), Peter (b. 1768).
