I've only had the tree online for 2 days so you picked it up very quickly! I have to admit that I am very familiar with your research. Most of my information on the Leggetts came from my mother's research but I frequently checked her dates and information with both yours and the McCurdy's (who advise me that they are in contact with you). I especially liked to check with your data as it is so carefully researched and tends to agree with all mine. I have several original source materials that I would be glad to share with you if you are interested. Most, however, are in the form of journals written by Eliza Seaman Legget. Not highly factual, lots of literary references, but could be of interest. I am laboriously transcribing them into Word documents. I would be glad to share these with you if you are interested. I also have many photos, some mine and some acquired from the McCurdys. As for the "Living" issue, I find it frustrating while doing research. I appreciate your hint on how to bypass this and may use it in the future. But before putting this online I promised all concerned that I would protect their privacy. I haven't done alot of Leggett research at this point as so much of it is already documented. I have spent the bulk of my time doing primary research the Norwegian side of the family. I do hope to get back to the Leggetts at some point and will be glad to take you up on your offer of information on the British roots. Again, if you are interested in any photos or journal items, let me know.
