Note: Leggett, Frederick P Pine Hill Ave East Norwalk, CT 06855 (203) 838-0382 I telephoned this number on the afternoon of 3 July 2003, and had a delightful conversation with Rose (DiGiovanni) Leggett, who is the widow of Frederick P. Leggett. She wanted to change the listing to her name, but has kept the telephone number in his name upon the advice of friends. She has three daughters, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She mentioned an Elizabeth Leggett, 1st cousin to her husband or his father, who married a Cedrick Ostrom, and had four daughters in Plainfield, N. J. One of these, Ginnie, lives in Salt Lake City and is a genealogy fan. She is unsure of her maiden name. Is this the man? His wife is named Anna E. (Elizabeth?). But I still don't know how she would fit into the Leggett tree... 1930 United States Federal Census record for: Cedric Ostrom Name: Cedric Ostrom Age: 37 years Estimated birth year: 1892 Birthplace: New York Relation: Race: White Home in 1930: Woodbridge, Middlesex, New Jersey Source Information Year: 1930; Census Place: Woodbridge, Middlesex, New Jersey; Roll: T626_1369; Page: 5B; Enumeration District: 129; Image: 0631. I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful job you've done on our family tree. I couldn't believe that you knew that Mom past away last year. You're incredible. I wanted to tell you about a few changes that you might be interested in. Mom's (Rose) maiden name is spelled DiGiovanni not DiJiovanni. I assume that's why it is listed Spanish decent. Actually she was 100% Sicilian. If you are interested in any other information I have please just let me know. By the way, my new phone number is 203-374-4801. I don't know if you found this website www.leggetts.us , That's us David, atleast it was owned by our Cousin Ned Leggett when I was a child and I'm 60 years old now. Anyway, many thanks for the days and time and years you put into our family tree. Much Love, Cousin Michele P.S. Mom talked about you often and really enjoyed your phone calls.
