now, I'm sure that all of you have been keeping up with all of the latest and greatest business news concerning recent The Miller Brewing Company/Liquid Investments/Mesa Distributors...then again maybe not. shocker...
as some of you know, through me, that Miller/Liquid/Mesa have been in the market for a new air-o-plane for the past year or so....and as recently as last week, papers were passed (along with a sh*t-load of cash!) and we're taking delivery of our new Gulfstream in the next 10-14 days...so while the aircraft is in it's pre-buy inspection and getting it's paint and interior done, me and Billy gotta go get schooled
so here I am telling you that I'll be out of town for the better part of what's left of August in Wilmington, Delaware at the training facility for this airplane
so if y'all need to get a hold of me, don't bother going to your computer and firing off an e-mail to me, 'cuz I won't get it....you'll need to use your phone and leave me a message ( yes, leave me a message....110-115 hours of classroom instruction in the first 10 days...do the math) because I probably won't be answering the phone during the day while in class
as much as I absolutely enjoyed the Falcon, I sure am glad to get into a bigger bird---stand up cabin, coast-to-coast capability plus some, and a fully automated glass cockpit----it'll be like learning how to fly all over again!
so wish me luck (I'll need it) and hopefully me and Billy will pass our check-rides and not waste the $40-50K that these guys are investing in to our training
if all goes well, the earliest that I'll be home will be the 19th
so, who wants to give me a ride to the airport?

yup, still got he condo...another couple of weeks of remodeling and
it'll be occupied by a renter
yes, indeed, i've finally graduated to a "house" house...2-level, 4
bed, 3 bath, 2-car garage, driveway, pool, my first lawn
it's about a 20-25 minute drive by surface street from here, right on
the beach, to a little north of here and a little bit inland, which is
where the new place is....but still, at the most, a 10-minute drive
from front door to sand
as far as the phone number, since i haven't had a land-line in over 5
years and i'm remaining within the same area code, shouldn't be a
problem (i'm mostly worried about the fax line...let's hope the Number
Portability Act passed by the FCC early last year comes through---i
sure hope so, because it's the number that's connected with the
business that i started last year with a couple of guys from flight
school...we'll see, i guess)
y'all ever been to Cali? 4 bedrooms=lotsa space....hint, hint, wink,
