Mary Maxwell of Saratoga died 21 Sept 1852.
Her will was written 20 January 1850 and witnessed
by Abraham and Ebenezer Leggett of Stillwater.
Executors named: Embree Maxwell and John Garrison
Letters issued 24 Dec 1855 by Jno. C. Hulbert, surrogate,
to Embree Maxwell, son of Mary Maxwell.
Recorded in Saratoga County Letters Testamentary book 2 page 271.
Mary Maxwell's will is recorded in Will book 17 page 88.
Her will was contested and a printed booklet of testimony is
also bound into Will book 17, and the pages of this booklet
are numbered 3-72. The information in this booklet is a
genealogical treasure - I'm sending you every single page.
Mary Leggett was born 11th month 15, 1757 and died
9th month 21, 1852, according to her gravestone at the
Quaker Cemetery in the Town of Saratoga.
