David,
You may not remember, but I contacted you several years ago re. Ostrom genealogy. I have a few new facts you may or may not have.
" Hannah Leggett Ostrom, wife of Isaac, and Isaac as well, are buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Troy, Rensselaer, NY. Hannah died in 1834.
" Gabrield Leggett married Mary Wiggins (2nd wife) on 9 Jul 1765.

I have still not found out any further info on my 4 great grandfather John Ostrom, father of Isaac, other than he lived in Dutchess County, NY.
Can you give me any ideas of how to proceed with my search? I don't have much time to spend and so I am still new at this genealogy stuff and would appreciate any help you could offer. I am hoping to make a trip to Albany and to Dutchess this summer.
