Note: ., departed this life on the 9th day of June, 1886, and that the said Thomas Leggett left him surviving the following residuary legatees mentioned in his said will, viz.: the defendants Catherine T. Leggett, Mary L. Parsons, Sarah F. Leggett, Caroline H. Brooks and Susan H. Thomas, and that Anna F. Leggett, another daughter of said Thomas Leggett, Jr., intermarried with the defendant Joseph T. Moore, and departed this life intestate on the 8th day of November, 1885, leaving her surviving her said husband, the said defendant Joseph T. Moore and six children, viz.: the defendants Mary M. They had three of their own: Anna F (1837), Caroline H (1842) and Susanna H (1846). NOTE: Conflicting data re birth place. Philadelphia PA or Flushing NY. Her birth, and that of her siblings, is recorded in the Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy, Vol 2, Pg 373. DJL: I'd tend to believe the gravestone with a 6 June date vs. the above legal document drafted some years later, which shows 9 June as date of death. Latter date could be an interment date, though.
