Found his and his wife's gravestone during a visit to Woodlawn Cemetery, 10 Dec 2002:
  WILLIAM LEGGETT
 1844-1924
 HIS WIFE
 MARIA CARMAN
 1845-1919
His wife was not in my records, as Woodlawn did not send me the burial card with the batch of all the Leggetts in Woodlawn they sent me in 2001. This is probably because Maria's name is not listed as Leggett on the stone, and maybe not in the records, either.
