Notes
a. Note:   chidock, Devonshire, England married Sarah Searle b. 1774, on the 19 December 1793. John died at age 72 and Sarah age 71.
John, a yeoman, and Sarah lived in a two-storey farmhouse situated on Torwood Manor land at Torquay, Devon. There is a thatched cottage where the old Mudge farmhouse used to be. It is said to have contained smuggler's cupboards. The Mudge family worked the farm where a cousin (??? TUCKER) said she was born.
A family dressmaker in Torquay was the informant on the residences when spoken to, in 1960 visit by my cousin in Adelaide, Margaret MUDGE (b. 1931)
Note:   BIOGRAPHY: John, who was born in 1764, lived in Daccombe, Parish of Dun
