Notes
a. Note:   oungest brother, Leo, had been found dead at 1100 hours on Friday morning, 30th October 1981, at the foot of a cliff at Gordon's Bay, Coogee in Sydney (Information that I gained from my brother,David, only in recent times (2018) indicated ‘foul play’ was involved).
Some time prior to his death Leo,employed as the Internal Security Officer (in charge of some 32 officers) for the firm of Grace Bros, Sydney, had witnessed a ‘serious internal fraud’ at the Miranda branch store. He had reported it and a charge had been laid against the senior staff member involved.
In the ensuring weeks, Leo had been severely ‘bashed’ several times in the alleyway, at the side of the store, leading to the employee’s entrance door. (Our mother had informed David of this after Leo’s death)
At the scene of the death, several items of Leo’s possessions were discovered at the top of the cliff including his wallet, Grace Bros security pass card (on a neck band), a small lighter and another item. It is suspected that he had been thrown off the cliff to prevent him appearing in court, as the only witness, to the ‘alleged fraud ‘at Grace Bros.
