a. Note:   J. Cornelius is supposed to have died near Mt. Holly, Gaston Co. His daughter gave his place of burial as Oak Grove Church Cemetery. I assumed this is the cemetery in Kings Mountain, Cleveland Co., NC. She wrote that he was buried by some organization that he belonged to. In reality, however, she was only slightly off. It was Hickory Grove Baptist Church cemetery, northeast of Gastonia, NC. He was buried by the Dark Hollow Assemby, Nr. 8053, of the Knights of Labor.
