Blidsoe daughter born Jan 1896 Henry Blidsoe, son born May 1898 The family under Henry Blidsoe is Beatrice Poindexter. The point being, these children are listed as sons and daughters of Walterand Maggie Ellis. Could Blidsoe be Birdsong? I think there is that possibility, and that these are children of Walter's father William Ellis. It is also interesting to note, that Nannie Ellis listed as daughter, appears as a sister in to Walter Lee Ellis in 1910. 1910 Census VA Richmond City, Richmond 0099 Walter L Ellis Husband W 44 Virginia 0207 Wife Maggie M 40, Virginia Daughter Eva E 20, Virginia Son James M 15, Virginia Daughter Zelma E 13, Virginia Son Walter L, Jr 10, Virginia Son Lin A 07, Virginia- This is Lonnie Ellis, our grandfather.
