Note: KORMAN, Daniel Joseph, 88, died November 16, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Doris Myers Korman; two sisters, Emily Korman Hrtko of Richmond, Va.; Lillian Korman Eanes of Old Church, Mechanicsville, Va.; three sons, Daniel Joseph Korman Jr. and his wife, Nancy, David Dean Korman and his wife, Becky, and Douglas Charles Korman and his wife, Linda; five grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Korman was beloved by his family and his church. He was a blessing to all who knew him. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 5270 Charles City Road, Henrico, Va. 23231. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
