a. Note:   ismithrice1 Oct 22, 2017Hi there.. I see you have a Solomon Ritz marrying a Mary R. Wise in Washington Co., MD and saying they are the parents of Solomon Ritz and others. I hate to be the fly in the ointment but I think you are in error. Granted, it is plausible that they are the parents but I think very unlikely. The Mary Wise you are referring to: born Aug 15, 1786 and died Feb 22, 1819, age 32. She is buried in Boonsboro, MD in Old Salem Church Cemetery (see Findagrave). Since our Mary Ritz had children in 1822 (and likely after) while living in Pennsylvania I find this information very unlikely. Wish I had some concrete answers for the Ritz family history.
