COMMENT REGARDING OLE'S NAME IN 1801 CENSUS:
(Taken from letter dated 30 Apr 2000 to Arnold Offerdahl from Jan Kristiansen, genealogist at the State Archives in Oslo)
It's also most likely that Christen Olsen's father's correct name was Ole Christensen - and not Christophersen as given on the 1801 census. This is because he is given as Ole Christensen on all his children's baptisms, that he named his so n Christen and not Christopher, and the fact that the above mentioned sponsor/witness Ole Christensen Kopperud very probably is identical with Anne Davidsdatter's husband.
Thus the two Davidsdatter sisters indeed both seem to have been married to an Ole Christensen.
