Continued: Peter Pinckney Burr
Based on the book "A general history of the Burr family in America ...", census records, and on Peter's headstone at findagrave.com, Peter was born on 26 Feb 1815 in Connecticut, and passed away on 20 Jan 1887 in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
His father was also named Peter.
According to his marriage record, Peter married Martha McNutt on 13 Nov 1845 at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
They had one daughter that I know of. Her name was Mary (aka Mollie), and she married Thomas C. Robertson in 1871. According to Mary's death record, her dates are 23 Aug 1849 - 9 Jun 1921.
Martha McNutt died in 1853.
Peter married Maria Wiatt after the 1860 Census was taken and before the 1870 Census was taken.
