 Birth dates of some of the children vary somewhat in various records. Death and marriage records were used where possible, and an average of census records was used for the other children.

  John Davis signed marrriage bond 7 March 1826. The same John Davis that married Ruth Armstrong on 5 January 1822 in Tyler county. Signatures match well. James Wrick signed with his mark.
  For John and Ruth the 1830 census shows a 15 to 20 year old girl. John in 50s, Ruth in 40s. Plus children under 10 from their marrage. This census shows John too old to be a brother. I had her father as J. Davis thus I will change it to John Davis.
