Note: William was mildly retorted, and helped Fate on his farm. The 1900 Census lists him as William Rousey, a nephew. Birth place of Father is "unknown" and mother is "VA". Catherine was born in VA. This "unknown" listing may be a cover-up for the illegitimate birth.
