Note: Census records of Washington Co. give a birth range of 1780 to 1790. in support of his going there with his father Henry, and agreeing with the 1781 date in the family Bible. The initial "C" found in the 1840 census may be a misunderstanding of "P" for Paterson. Debra L. Richards reports that Henry (b. 7 June 1781) was married to Lise Thibodeaux on 6 Sept 1808 in Saint Martinville, St Martin Parish, Louisiana. This is not the same Henry that stayed in Washington Co., PA. She lists no children or death date. There are no census records in LA for Henry. There are men in Biles' families in 1810 and 1820 who could be him. However, there is only one adult women in each household, thus no extra wife for Henry. There are a lot of Biles in PA; most are related. This Henry is likely a cousin if he exists. The families had a habit of repeating many of the names.
