Note: Hiram and his sisters, Victoria Smalley and Jane Wykolf, are living in Charitan Co., MO in 1870. They are not far from his brother George and his family. In 1880 he is in Rea, Carroll Co., MO with his sister Columbia V. (age 22) and two brothers each 10 years of age and born in MO, Willard C. W. and William T. His father, ,John must have remarried after Rebecca died and had these twins. In 1900 Hiram is in DeWitt, Carroll Co., Missouri with his wife of 9 years, Susan, and a "daughter-in-law" Ella May age 22 (Susan's daughter). 3 of Susan's 4 children are living.
