  George drowned in the "Old Russell Hole" of Middle Island Creek, near the bog which is now Crystal Lake.
  There were 3 more girls under 10 listed in the 1840 West Monongalia Co. census that do not appear in the 1850 census. Two of these probably died. Sarah is listed in her 30s, born 1801 to 1810.
