a. Note:   Sarah is of German ancestry.
  A letter to Mona Bond from Alberta Russell McKinney reports that Sarah was born in 1813and lived with her son Samuel until her death. However she is not recorded there in the 1860, 1870 or 1880 census records. 1830 to 1850 census records show her birth in the early 1800s. If she did continue to live with Samuel, she probably died before 1860.
  (There is a grave dated 22 January 1896,. Cannot be certain the grave is the right Sarah. Cannot find my notes for this grave in my early research, and I don't know the source.)
 Daniel Reisher in 1820 Chambersburg, Franklin Co., PA census is probably not her grandfather. There is not a Sarah in the extended family.
