Notes
a. Note:   Buried in Morris Cemetery, Franklin Twp. Greene Co. PA. She died Jan. 23, 1846, aged 46 years 10 mos. 10 days. This makes her birth date 13 March 1799 which is much too late for her to be his wife in 1812. I have used the date calculated from early census records. All census records place her birth much earlier than 1799.
1880 census birth place data as reported by their children:
 child self-father-mother
 George PA-VA-blank
 Harvey PA-VA-MD
 Emanuel PA-VA-NJ
 Nancy PA-VA-PA
 Sarah PA-PA-PA
In A History of Shenandoah Valley VA, A John Renner married Elizabeth Neas. Dec 27, 1791, Minister: Paul Hinkle. This marriage is 9 years before George was born. Considering the frequency that the other children were born, this span of time does not seem reasonable. Also she would be too old to bear the older children.
Many genealogies report 2 wives, but I find no real evidence for this conclusion.
b. Note:   NF1128
Note:   The marriage occurred before the 1800 Greene Co., PA census.
