Thomas' middle initial is recorded as "G" in marriage record and "J" in Ritchie Co. death record. Found as "J" is other genealogies which give him a first marriage in Rockbridge Co. But none of those children are in Ritchie Co. In fact Thomas was not found in VA in the 1860 census.
