a. Note:   John Smalley, 5th great Grandfather of Hannah Smalley, came to Plymouth Colony in 1632. Thomas Blossom, her 6th great Grandfather, sailed on the Speedwell in 1620. The Speedwell is the ship that attempted to come with the Mayflower, but had to turn back because of leaks. The Blossom family came to Plymouth Colony later in 1Cora. Hannah is living with Lula Alley Beam in 1920.ÙCbÙD

 ÙCbÙDMrs. Alley Dies At Catlettsburg
 ÙC/bÙDIll for Long Period Before Death
  Mrs. M. L. Alley died Friday afternoon at 1:10 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alley has been ill for a long time, but her condition had changed into a more serious trend in just the last few weeks.
 Mrs. Alley was born in Catlettsburg (error, it was W. Va.) June 13 1841, and had lived there practically all of her life. She was before her marriage to Marcus Alley in 1858, Miss Hannah Smalley. She was the mother of twelve children six of whom are her survivors (actually it was 14). They are as follows: Mrs. G. W. Beam of Catlettsburg, with whom she lived, Mrs. D. I. Roe (Rowe) of Huntington, W. Va., Mrs. John Orr of Ashland, Mrs. E. M. Nelson of Ashland and two sons, William G. Alley of Ashland Wayne Alley of Crum, W. Va. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren, fifty-three great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
 Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. W. C. Pierce pastor officiating.
