Note: The 1860 Boyd Co. KY census was actually taken in June and July of 1861 because Boyd Co. had just been formed. They were supposed to record data as if it was taken in 1860, but this may not have always happened. It is possible that the 2 month old daughter recorded on 8 June 1861 is an erroneous recording of Everett, who was born in April of 1861. However the ages of the infant children of John and Jacob Alley and all of Dow's children were recorded correctly. Although, the sex of one infant is wrong. Also, the twins of Jacob born in February of 1861 are not recorded which is correctly done. Thus it is best to believe that this is a daughter that died soon after birth and soon after 1 June 1960 because she was not named. One problem with this conclusion is that the age of Everett is usually a multiple of 10 in census records, giving him a birth date in 1860 before the date of the census record. When married to Everett, Julia always reduced her age by about 6 years. Except in 1900 the age is 39 and birth is May 1861 for both Everett and Julia.
