Kevin P. Grant Sr., passed away peacefully in his home in New Hampshire on Sunday July 14 2013. He was born Dec 5 1960 to the late Robert W Sr and Ruth McKay Grant. Kevin was born and raised in Bridgeport and was 1 of 7 children. He was a alter boy for St Augustine Cathedral and attended Bassick HS. He was a member of the St Peters Royalaires Drum Corp and was a general contractor and carpenter. Kevin is survived by 5 children; Susan Grant of Fairfield, Jennifer ÙCiÙD(Renee)ÙC/iÙD Grant of New Hampshire, Kevin P Grant Jr of Trumbull, Maverick Grant of N. Hampshire and Chloe Grant of MA. 3 grandchildren; Chloe, Aalinah and Andrew. 2 brothers; William and Roger Grant of Bridgeport. 3 sisters; Ruth Jeter and Kathleen Grant of Ansonia and Joanne Hammill of Bridgeport. Several nieces and nephews and best friend and former wife Cindy Necatera. He was predeceased by a brother Robert W Grant Jr and brother in-law Gary Hammill. Friends are invited to attend a memorial mass on Saturday at 10am in St Augustines Cathedral Bridgeport. Burial will take place in St Michaels Cemetery Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 5 to 7pm in The LARSON FUNERAL HOME 2496 North Ave Bridgeport.
