a. Note:   James Ramsey and Stephen Liggett posted the Marriage Bond 10 February 1798.
 James Campbell signed the Marriage Registration 12 February 1798 as a witness. I believe this is the marriage of James Ramsey, Jr. because James Campbell is a neighbor of James Ramsey, Sr., and two of his daughters married two sons, Joel and William, of James Ramsey, Sr. James Campbell signed the Marriage Bond of the son William Ramsey.
 The 1850 census records her born in VA and age as 88. This is too old for the births of her youngest children. Assuming a birth date of 1768 (age 82) makes the births work. This also makes the 1810 census age correct.
